Electro-pop group Years & Years shared the third part of the visual story that goes with their album Palo Santo, which was released earlier this summer. In “All For You”, viewers are taken back into the dark and mysterious world of Palo Santo, created by the band’s frontman Olly Alexander.
Alexander said in a statement that he “wanted the video to depict personal transformation, from a swan to a Witch to an Android and back again. The idea that there is a fixed ‘authentic’ you is false to me, we constantly shift and get reshaped by the people who experience us, whether we like it or not. I hope you like the video, we tried to make something that felt like a true pop video by way of planet Palo Santo, and we wanted to show you how androids are born.”
His vision is truly brought to life through the visually spectacular music video. It serves as a solid chapter for their attempt at a musical trilogy.
Years & Years are less than one month away from embarking on the North American leg of the Palo Santo tour. The tour will kick off on October 5th in Toronto, ON and will wrap up on October 30th in Seattle, WA. Head over to Years & Years’ website for dates and ticket information.
