1. Riot Fest Unveils 1st Round of Lineup
Riot Fest announced their first round of lineup this week. The Chicago music festival, which takes place September 15-17, will announce at least 25 more bands. Highlights of this first round include Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, M.I.A., A Day to Remember and Taking Back Sunday.
2. Alternative Press Announce Nominations for Best New Artist Video
Alternative Press announced a new category for their award show, the APMAs. The Best New Artist Video has nominations are:
- K.Flay – “Blood in the Cut”
- PUP – “Sleep in the Heat”
- SWMRS – “Palm Trees”
- Tiny Moving Parts – “Common Cold”
- Watsky – “Don’t Be Nice”
- With Confidence “Voldemort”
The APMAs will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 17.
3. Paramore Announce New Album, New Single
Paramore didn’t just drop a new single. Earlier this week, they announced their new album, After Laughter. The album will be released May 12. Check out their new single below:
