You want to scream the lyrics to your favorite songs and see ukuleles fly across the stage? That’s they type of show the Canadian Indie-Pop band, Walk Off the Earth delivers. With their second show into their HERE WE GO! Tour Thursday night, the group has set themselves up for an exciting and extremely fun next couple of months for their U.S. leg.
The dynamic group kicked off their set an original song, “Addicted” off of HERE WE GO!, followed by a mashup of their original song “Revo” and Steve Aoki’s “Home We’ll Go (Take My Hand) with whom they collaborated with.
Walk Off the Earth didn’t fail to bring the creativity they show through their popular YouTube videos to the stage with many popular medleys and covers featuring their guitar-ukulele-bass hybrid and their game of catch with their instruments from across the stage.
Mid-set the group honored their late band member and dear friend Mike Taylor with “Mike’s Song”. The energy was felt throughout the intimate venue of the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles.
The entire audience was on their feet from start to finish dancing freely and embracing each other. Walk Off the Earth took the audience through a journey of joy and love.
The group left the audience with Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” and their title track, “HERE WE GO!”
Walk Off the Earth is starting off the New Year strong with 17 more scheduled shows in the U.S., six shows in Canada, and five shows in Australia. They are also celebrating their most recent album release with nominations for “Pop Album of the Year” and “Group of the Year” at The 2020 JUNO Awards.
