This morning, Twenty One Pilots fans woke up to a fun surprise. After some teasing on social media, the band finally announced their fifth album Trench, which will be released on October 5th via Fueled by Ramen. Trench is following up the epic album cycle the band had with their last record Blurryface, which earned them a #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and a Grammy for Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song “Stressed Out”.
In addition to the album announcement, Twenty One Pilots also released two new songs from Trench. The first song “Jumpsuit” has a dark and eerie music video that was released along with it. “Nico and the Niner” is the second song the band released, which is more in-line with the sound of Blurryface.
