Are you ready to make the stars dance with Selena Gomez? If so, you’ll be happy to know that the 20-year old pop starlet will heading out on tour towards the end of the summer into the fall! In lieu of her sultry performance at the MTV Movie Awards last night, Gomez announced on Ryan Seacreast’s radio show this morning that she would hitting more than 50 cities across the world. Dubbed the Stars Dance World Tour, Selena revealed, “I couldn’t be more excited to tour again, but this time around the world. It’s going to be a bigger show; I’m excited. I’ve been dancing a lot and I just want to entertain people and I’m super stoked. I kind of missed shows when it used to just be about the dancing and the performing as opposed to how big and elaborate the stage is, so I kind of want to get back to that.”
The tour, to promote the singer’s highly-anticipated summer album, kicks off in Canada (Vancouver, to be specific) on August 14th, and wraps up on November 27th in St. Louis, with stops throughout Europe and North America. Pre-sale tickets for select cities and VIP packages will be available April 17th at 10 AM local time, before all tickets go on sale April 20th via Ticketmaster.
