After months of teasing, Olive Louise’s dreamy single “The Loveliest” is finally out. The song was written in an Airbnb with the artist’s fiancé. It expresses emotions of loving the person you’re with and thinking they are incredible – a feeling many people experience.
Described as a pop lullaby, Louise’s vocals effortlessly float over glistening piano melodies.
Louise has a background in classical which is evident in her creations – she brings a new dimension to the pop world. Her lyrics are honest, raw, and poetic, painting a story that allows listeners to relate.
She isn’t afraid to be herself and stays authentic, which fans recognize. Her voice is easily recognizable, as well – a whimsical, soprano voice.
Louise grew up in Kings Point, NY on the beautiful estate that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. Her mother was the lead pianist of the Long Island Philharmonic Orchestra, always filling the house with music. Louise was born with music in her blood.
After the tragic loss of both her parents, Louise turned to songwriting as a coping mechanism which soon turned into her greatest passion. She slowly found her own sound, becoming the artist she is today.
Louise studied at Berklee College of Music and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, furthering her musical education. In October 2019, Louise released “Fool” – a bold, pop anthem.
Her single “Bad Things” followed, exploring Louise’s struggles with anxiety. The video has been assimilated to the world of Alice in Wonderland. Single “Undefined” is also a special one, alluding to Louise’s childhood and the loss of her parents. “Nothing’s The Same” stems from her childhood, as well, creating a sense of nostalgia for listeners.
With more creations on the way, Louise is off to the perfect start, giving us pieces that are heartfelt, eye-opening and beautiful. Enter her whimsical world now.
