This has been an exciting week for Boys Like Girls fans, as the band who had previously dropped off the radar was suddenly back on it! Not only were they active on their social media for the first time in over a year, but they announced a 6 date US 10 year anniversary tour for their debut album. It was met with extreme excitement and enthusiasm, which was to be expected. The album will be played in it’s entirety, so break out the graphic tees, studded belts, and prepare to be thrown back into the world of 2006!
This is both an opportunity for old fans to re-live their pre/teen years as adults and new fans to finally be able to see this iconic band for the first time. With memories of middle school dances, driver’s licenses, and first kisses, Boys Like Girls wasn’t just the soundtrack of our summer, it was the soundtrack of our lives.
