The Struts have released a new single, “One Night Only.” This is the first piece of music from the U.K. band’s highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album, the follow-up to their debut Everybody Wants.
“This song is mainly about the relationship between a performer and his/her audience,” said frontman Luke Spiller. “After touring throughout the United States, we’ve developed a strong relationship with our audience and started to feel more responsibility to them—mainly to give a great show every night.
“The song has many theatrical moments, making the arrangement one of the most ambitious songs we’ve done. It’s definitely over the top and larger than life, but after experiencing our audience and how they react to our music, I think it’s even more fitting.”
“One Night Only” holds true to The Struts’ sound with its driving rhythm and catchy hook – perfect for singing along to in an arena.
The Struts will join the first leg of the Foo Fighters’ tour this fall, kicking off at Washington D.C.’s brand new venue, The Anthem. The band has been playing all around the world, from headlining shows to festivals to opening for The Who, Mötley Crüe, The Killers, and more.
