Sven Gamsky’s solo indie act Still Woozy brought the second date of the If This Isn’t Nice Tour to Nashville on May 11th.
Fans of Still Woozy – particularly Danielle, Emily, Anna, and Cece – were far from disappointed after attending Still Woozy’s performance at Marathon Music Works. Fans attended for a number of reasons, including having the latest album If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is on repeat, postponed shows due to the pandemic, and simply looking forward to a goofy and fun performance.
When asked about her favorite part of the show, Danielle noted how the audience had “such great energy and it was so much fun to dance and sing together”. Emily’s favorite moment was when Sven stopped and reminded the audience to dance like nobody was watching – “it was goofy and fun and full of love and light and absolutely everything you would want from a live show”. Emily also noted Legwurk’s “mind-blowing” performance both as the opening act and guitarist for Still Woozy’s set. When asked about her favorite parts of the show, Anna said, “hearing ‘Habit’ (my freshman year favorite), lots of good dancing with my dear friends, and it was a cool stage set up-sick backdrop and lighting”. Cece particularly enjoyed how much fun the band was having playing together, saying “I love when artists actually look like they enjoy a show because it makes me feel as though they want to be there as much as I do!”
Still Woozy continues their If This Isn’t Nice Tour through July 22, including stops at Hangout Fest, Forecastle Festival, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, and Splendour In The Grass.
Tickets are available here.
Special thanks to Danielle Fite, Emily Clark, Anna Messer, and Cece Rulon for giving their thoughts on the show!
