We’ve all been through the struggle of trying to make the perfect playlist for a party – trying to find good songs that cover everyone’s music tastes can be hard. Luckily, Spotify’s new collaborative playlist feature might just save the day.
Spotify has launched a new feature called Group Playlists for Messenger through the popular Facebook messaging app.
With Group Playlists for Messenger, users can create and share playlists with their Facebook friends, and let those friends add new songs too. Even non-members of Spotify will be able to add songs to playlists, which might attract new potential listeners.
Creating a playlist inside Messenger is simple. First, you need to select the Spotify Messenger extension while in a group chat. Spotify users can “Create” and name a new playlist. Once you send the playlist to the group chat, your friends can view and add songs.
This feature is bound to be helpful for making playlists for parties, creating moody mixtapes, and sharing and discovering new music with friends.
