After several successful tours, including a recent headline run, Spencer Sutherland shared his latest single, “Grateful” today.
With a catchy up-tempo beat and lyrics that demand to be sung, the track is a perfect release for the holiday season, stating that Sutherland is “not perfect, but grateful.” A strummed bass line is a constant throughout the song, which makes it the perfect groovy soundtrack to your holiday road trips.
Sutherland’s r&b vocals are strong, genuine and authentic throughout the track, even singing about a bagel and cream cheese in the first verse.
Sutherland announced “Grateful” via Twitter, sharing a teaser video on November 22, which featured a glass of red wine, several pairs of white shoes and a bagel and you guessed it, cream cheese.
