After releasing two singles just over a month ago, Shawn Mendes has finally released the album cover, tracklist, and release date for his newest album, entitled Shawn Mendes: The Album. Following the release of 2015’s Handwritten and 2016’s Illuminate, Shawn Mendes: The Album will mark Mendes’ third full length studio album, set to be released on May 25th. The album cover depicts an portrait of Mendes, with his face divided into sections and erupting with flowers. Compared to his previous album covers, this new cover represents something much more avant-garde and unexpected.
The album’s tracklist includes previously released singles “In My Blood” and “Lost in Japan”, along with 12 new tracks, including collaborations with Khalid and Julia Michaels. Mendes will be appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden for an entire week starting June 4th, as well as both presenting and performing at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20th.
