Emerging during the height of Covid, an artist by the name Seint Monet made a debut to the world with her first EP Bloom. Colleen O’Donnell, who was born and raised in New Jersey, reinvented herself with a stage name – Seint Monet- and vibrant album. The six-track EP featured a plethora of well-known writers and producers who have done projects with Troye Sivan and Kanye West, making it a must-listen, proven by its success.
The breakthrough artist left fans excited for what was next, and now she has returned with new single “Camera”. Released July 8, “Camera” is a fun and euphoric song with techno beats. Perhaps “Camera” was inspired by the artist’s experience during and post-Covid. Technology has taken over and has more control over society than ever, which is the artist’s focal point in the single.
“We live in an online world, which can be good, but you can’t have the good without the bad.”
Seint Monet experiments with her style while keeping her indie, neo-pop vibe which attracts listeners. The young artist started her music career in a classical manner, establishing herself as an excellent piano player. In present time, she takes a more alternative route in attempts to alter the world of genres as we know it.
