We see Sebastian Javier’s newest single “Crystal Ball” on repeat in your future.
The newly, Elektra Records signee, always knew he wanted to be a singer. Growing up in Argentina before moving to Canada with his mother at 12 years old, the now 21-year-old is living his dream. Inspired by Justin Bieber, the latin-pop singer got his start posting videos to Youtube and popular social media platforms like Vine and Instagram. With his sweet latin charm and smooth voice, he’s gained quite the audience with over 400K Twitter followers, over 200K Instagram followers and over 80K TikTok followers.
Previously going by Sebastian Olzanski, dropping six singles and one EP, the Argentinian native rebranded as Sebastían Javier (his first and middle name) when signing to Elektra.
With this new rebranding comes a new sound. Javier’s now English/Spanish fusion is inspired by his life and culture in both North and South America. “Spanish music always came to me and always felt like home.”
Written in the height of the pandemic, through Zoom with Jeff Hazin and David Fischer, “Crystal Ball” is all about wanting to know the future of a relationship. The soft, acoustic guitar driven single gives a catchy chorus with spanish verses that’s bound to be stuck in your head. It was accompanied by a fun, magic-filled Heirmanos-directed music video.
With his immense passion and effortless vocals, along with his unique defiant sounds of latin-pop norms, Sebastian Javier is bound to become a name in music.
