Nashville-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and ukulele player, Sara Kays is following her hit song “Remember That Night?” with a brand new single, and we put together three reasons why we’re putting it on our playlist.
1. It’s Relatable
The new song, titled “Picture Of You,” chronicles heartbreak and young love, which it’s safe to say, we’ve all been there. The soft piano in the song evokes a feeling of nostalgia and the lyrics are just angsty enough.
2. Kays’ Writes and Records All Her Own Music
Described as “uniquely comforting, cathartic, and catchy alternative pop,” Kays’ music is all original. She writes and records all on her own, which we love to see! This level of creating music seems to give listeners a window into what the artist is feeling, almost like a page out of their diary. We love that Kays isn’t afraid of getting real and vulnerable on the track.
3. Kays’ is a TikToker
At BTS, we love a good Tiktok. Kays’ music and personality has earned her more than 1.6M TikTok followers, a growing audience that she says feels more like a supportive community. We love seeing her on our FYP and interacting with fans on the app.

The 22-year-old artist was even recognized on Billboard’s latest Emerging Artists Spotlight and made an appearance on Rolling Stone’s “Breakthrough 25” Chart, and we’re sure we’ll be hearing her name more and more in the upcoming months.
