So you’ve heard the Re:SET Concert Series is coming to a city near you but you’re unsure what it is and who’s performing. You just want to shout “I was there!” like your favorite LCD Soundsystem song.
Here’s how you can see the series in your town.
What is Re:SET?
On paper the Re:SET concert series sounds like a traveling mini-festival. It’s organized by AEG Presents and will stop at outdoor venues in different cities for three days each with several acts playing everyday. The good news for fans? There’s no need to plan the day out and decide which of your favorite acts you’ll skip out on seeing.
Every musician will perform on the same stage to avoid scheduling conflicts, according to the series’ info page.
That means you can see acts like the returning boygenius, ever-popular Steve Lacy, superstar Jamie XX, world-famous punkers IDLES and more in one weekend.
Who is playing at Re:SET?
This is a big question for fans and the answer varies.
Each Re:SET series stop is three days long and the schedule isn’t the same in every city. However, all the same acts are playing on the same day at each festival.
Here are the artists performing together on the same day (Remember that which of the three days these groups perform varies by city):
Performing together: LCD Soundsystem, IDLES, Jamie XX, L’Rain*, more*
Performing together: boygenius, Clairo, Dijon, Bartees Strange
Performing together: Steve Lacy, James Blake, Toro y Moi, Fousheé
*artist appearance varies by city

Reasons to be excited!
Why wouldn’t you be stoked to see these acts perform on one stage in your town? LCD Soundsystem rarely makes live appearances anymore and have most recently focused on residencies. Steve Lacey has been throwing out hits for years but has captured a larger crowd and more imaginations with his newest record and boygenius are ready to release a debut full-length LP of their own. Combine all of that with Bartees Strange’s captivating sound, IDLES thrashing noise rock plus Clairo’s catchy and soothing songwriting capabilities. How would any music lover skip a weekend like that?
