Nashville based electro-pop artist Quinn Lewis recently dropped an EP that you will be addicted to by the end of your first listen. He’s effortless at combining smooth electric guitar riffs, killer bass lines, vulnerable lyrics, and futuristic synths to his unique sound that is showcased on his Addicted EP. There is a sense of sincerity in Lewis’ voice that doesn’t come around often in today’s oversaturated music scene. But Lewis is a natural at portraying true honesty and sincerity as he woos the listener on each track. Addicted is an exceptional introduction to the artist Lewis is striving to be with R&B and soulful influences that will please your ears
The EP kicks off with ‘Rooftop’ an electro-dance track that will get you moving in no time. It’s definitely a track that could be played in the club. The instrumentation of the track is filled with a sonically cohesive sound of beats and rhythm that makes it a beautiful start to the 5-track EP. Following ‘Rooftop’ is the highlight of the EP ‘Heartbreaker’. It’s a smoky, soulful and vibrant track with a chorus that will stick with you. For a newcomer, ‘Heartbreaker’ gives a perfect depiction of what Lewis wants to be as an artist. His artistry is pure and raw, and the listener will be able to tell that just on the first listen of ‘Heartbreaker’.
‘Bridges’ is another synth-pop energizer, while ‘BOTL’ and the title track ‘Addicted’ are the stripped down tracks on the EP displaying Lewis’ vocal range and vulnerability. It’s great when you see a newcomer display a true piece of artistry that allows the listener to know exactly who they are and where they are heading. Lewis is a master at this on Addicted, which makes us excited for what else is to come for the Aussie native.
