After a hiatus from music, Mackenzie Moore shared her new single, “Better” with us earlier today! At just twenty-five, the Detroit-native has already opened for previous Beyond The Stage cover star, built a solid presence with her audience and more.
Moore eats, breathes and sleeps music, building it into her everyday life, whether she’s writing on the piano or collaborating with friends. Heavily influenced by Adele, Alicia Keys, and other female empowered songwriters, Moore is fighting for herself in the music space and ready for what’s next.
Although she took time off to further her education and study, Moore is ready for what’s next.
“Better,” an electronic, positively driven track, is brand new from Moore and easily, her strongest musically. The track inspires the feeling of “better” throughout the bouncing beat and Moore’s flowing vocals. The track’s electric guitar riff drives the track forward, not only building towards the chorus but ultimately, driving the track forward to the high point.
Via a press release, Moore said: “To share what I’ve written. I like writing A LOT. I think that my voice and my writing has changed so much as I’ve grown up in the past few years and it reflects in what I’ve written. In regards to my future, one of the greatest parts of being an artist is seeing a live audience reaction. So hopefully performing in the near future!”
