It has been quite the eventful few days for Poppy. The announcement of her headlining 2020 tour and now the release of her newest song, “BLOODMONEY”. Poppy fans have sure been treated well this week.
The song “BLOODMONEY” is the third track released from the album “I Disagree” which will be released on January 10, 2020. A bit different than the other songs that have been released from the album, this song features more of an electronic sound than the typical metal tracks we are used to. The music of the chorus of very reminiscent of everyones favorite song in the early 2000’s, “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails. Yet, involving soft voice we are very familiar with, the song is a bit of a calmer one even though the cryptic lyrics tell and music video tell a bit of a different story. It make Poppy look otherworldly and pretty powerful. You can check out the music video below:
