Singer-Songwriter Plested shared the music video for “The Least That I Could Do” with fans last night. The song itself was released earlier this month via Atlantic Records, just in time for him to kick off his European headlining tour which is now well underway.
It can be argued that Plested is best known for his ability to uniquely tell stories through his emotions, honesty and knack for painting pictures with words. The song with his mother in mind, and it was written around the phrase “the least that I could do is die for you” which captures the message and emotion in the song perfectly.
While “The Least That I Could Do” is no exception to those terms when it comes to his craft, the music video for the song is the perfect companion piece for the song. The video captures the sacrifice and selflessness one displays when it comes to the people they love and care about the most. Throughout the music video, the viewer sees and experiences the trying relationship between a mother and her young son, and the sacrifices and lengths they are willing to go to in order to care for and support each other. It’s a story most people can relate to in one way or another, making it the perfect visual to go with “The Least That I Could Do.”
Plested is currently in the middle of wrapping up a headlining tour in Europe. To stay up-to-date on all things Plested, make sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for information on tour dates and all upcoming releases.
