Boyband sensation, Why Don’t We, recently brought their 8 Letters Tour to Philadelphia. Openers included the talented Taylor Grey and EBEN – two acts you’re definitely going to want to keep your eyes on.
It’s always amazing to hear fans sing along to every song from each of the opening acts. Grey performed a handful of crowd favorites including “Poison.” She gave a short speech about living in the moment and the importance of appreciating the now.

Fans were anxiously awaiting EBEN’s arrival on stage. The theater erupted into screams as heartthrob EBEN came out on stage to perform songs from the course of over the last two years. EBEN’s most recent single, “Plastic Angels” was easily a fan favorite. Blown away by the reception of his music, EBEN mentioned that Philly was the loudest crowd of the tour thus far and how grateful he was for their continued support. You will be seeing more from EBEN this year – get ready.
The moment fans were anxiously waiting for… Why Don’t We was about to take the stage. If you’ve never attended a boyband show before, the energy is unparalleled. The Met Philadelphia filled with screams as the big screen lit up with “8 Letters Tour”. Standing on pedestals, Why Don’t We appeared and opened with “Trust Fund Baby”, followed by “M.I.A.” and “Choose”. It’s evident that Why Don’t We has a special connection with their fans. One of the most notable parts of the show was the mashup of “Taste”, “Finesse”, “Lucid Dreams”, “Middle Child”, and “Better Now”. The band thanked fans and their parents for attending the show and said that Philly has a special place in their hearts, as it was the first city they ever played a show in. Closing out the show was “I Don’t Belong in this Club” which is a recent single featuring Macklemore.
