Currently on tour in support of the Japanese rock group ONE OK ROCK, Weathers takes the stage and show a packed Portland crowd what they’re about. Despite being a supporting act, Weathers show expert crowd control and engagement, and for the duration of their set turn the crowd and show into their own.
The majority of the crowd didn’t know who Weathers were prior to the beginning of the night. Weathers knew and acknowledged this, but they did not let this fact bother them and made sure this was a set they would remember. Vocalist Cameron Boyer constantly moved around the stage and gave his performance everything he had. He commanded the attention of the crowd, and even interacted with them by teaching them lyrics and leading chants.
The alternative band from Los Angeles was a great fit to open for ONE OK ROCK. With a similar style of energy and performance, and being genre friendly and similar sound to the Japanese rock band, they were able to take the crowd and make them their own. The crowd was completely engaged throughout their set, and even met up with the band afterwards at their merch table. Weathers deservingly walked off the stage with many new fans that night, that undoubtedly would fill a Weathers Portland headline show.
