Last Thursday, Valley played an electrifying set to a sold out crowd at Webster Hall in New York City. The Toronto, Ontario natives are currently trekking across North America supporting The Band CAMINO. Even though Valley’s set was brief, it was filled with great music and incredible energy.
The band played a great mixture of songs from their projects Maybe – Side A and Maybe – Side B, which together make up their debut album. Their perfect mix of pop, alternative, experimental, and electronic influences made them the perfect opening act for The Band CAMINO. Valley gave more and more of themselves with each song they performed, it all lead up to the final song which was such a climactic moment throughout the entire show. They closed with their most recent single “Park Bench,” which has a unique, almost manic energy to it that really came through in their live performance.
Throughout their set, it was made clear to the audience that Valley is in this for the long haul. Their unparalleled electrifying performances compliment their music perfectly, and those are only a few of the qualities that will help catapult them into greatness in years to come.
