Sometimes, you hear a band that makes you feel a sense of nostalgia, and that’s exactly what The Night Game’s music does. Last night, the band brought their alternative, nostalgic tunes to New York City and their live show didn’t disappoint. Headed by Martin Johnson (of Boys Like Girls), The Night Game had the crowd going nuts throughout the entirety of their set. Even though the band has only officially released four songs since their formation in 2016, the crowd loved every second of their set. The stage production was done beautifully and paired perfectly with the band’s groovy tunes. While most of the songs the band played are unreleased, the songs that the crowd did know had them going wild, and left them screaming for more after the band ended their set with their most recent single “Bad Girls Don’t Cry”.
After last night’s show, it’s clear that The Night Game is going places. Even though the band is finishing up their headlining tour this week, the band will be making a number of festival appearances this summer.
