Seeing The Maine live is always more than just a concert. If you’ve been a fan for 10+ years, or if you only know one or two songs, you’ll always feel welcome at a TM show. The atmosphere that this band creates is so inclusive, safe, and comforting and I always leave the show feeling absolutely rejuvenated. This show at Pier 17 was the first out of a weekend of events and activities for the band’s “Lovely Little Weekend” experience. The band organized fun pop up shops, cruises, after parties, and meet and greets for fans to enjoy for an entire weekend in NYC. Lovely Little Weekend was such a special opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in the music, the great community the band and the fans have created, and the fun events they had scheduled for three days straight. The Maine has always been fantastic about being very interactive and accessible to their fans, and it truly feels like such a special relationship that you don’t see very often between an artist and their followers. The Pier 17 show was an incredible celebration of the band and their music, where they played new songs, old songs, and everything in between. Seeing The Maine perform with all the passion they had in them in front of the NYC skyline was truly something I’ll never forget!
