The Get Up Kids sent Los Angeles into a frenzy the other night when they brought their tour with Kevin Devine to the Echoplex. The night started out with an energetic solo performance from New York’s Kevin Devine. Devine sure knows how to captivate the crowd with just an electric guitar, some heartfelt songs, and even some light comedy.
From the second that The Get Up Kids first walked on stage, they brought a crazy amount of energy with them that the crowd immediately matched. The setlist took fans through some of their greatest hits like “Holiday” and “Ten Minutes” as well as old fan favorites. During an encore to end the show they even covered Elliott Smith with Kevin Devine, and shortly after The Replacements.
