On Tuesday night, up-and-coming alternative rockers RUSSO showed Brooklyn what they’re made of. RUSSO is currently touring in support of their 90’s Alternative / No Doubt-esque debut EP House with a Pool, which was released earlier this year. The band’s energy is incomparable – from the second they set foot on stage to the last note of their final song, they kept the crowd excited and engaged.
It’s obvious to anyone who sees RUSSO live that they will be around for a long time. Their everlasting sound paired with their stage presence is what makes their art timeless. Throughout their brief set, the band had their entire EP covered, playing songs like “Lonely,” “Loudmouth” and “Bad Things”. While the band itself is fairly new, the musicianship they displayed throughout their set made it seem otherwise. The musicianship they showcased paired with their advanced stage presence made their performance feel comfortable and fun.
The band is currently on a quick U.S. tour supporting Dream Wife, which raps up October 12th in San Diego. To stay up today on all things RUSSO, keep your eyes peeled on the band’s website!
