With only a couple shows left in the tour, Pvris make a stop in San Francisco and play for an excited crowd ready to share an incredible night of music. A proof of vaccination or negative Covid test, and a mask on requirement, put everyone at ease and allowed both the band and audience to enjoy the night and enjoy live music once again.
The show was a look at Pvris’ current and upcoming era. Now with three albums released, and another they have been teasing on the way, their carefully crafted set appealed to all fans with sprinklings of each album and a couple unreleased tracks. Notably, during the encore the band left the stage, the lights went dark, and a demon voice came over the speakers. The voice guided the audience through lyrics to a new song, and the band returned to the stage to perform “My Way” with the help of the crowd.
The energy of the show was incredible. It was all smiles throughout the whole set from the band, and especially from lead singer Lynn Gunn. The group was having the most fun performing in front of a die hard crowd belting lyrics back at them, and soaked up all the energy the audience was giving them. Lynn Gunn periodically shared stories of touring through the area and the band’s history, and repeatedly talked about how good it felt to be back together and sharing their music with audiences each night.
From both the perspective of the artists touring, and the people in the crowd, everyone can agree it is great to be able to safely be together listening to live music once again.
