Minutes before Phoebe Bridgers took the stage at Music Hall of Williamsburg, the crowd was buzzing. They were gushing about their love for the singer-songwriter, one person even turned to their friend and said “I’ll see you at Radio City Music Hall in two years when she sells it out”. Bridgers played songs from her debut record Strangers In The Alps, filling the sold out concert venue with her calm voice & sad songs. She even enlisted some help from Connor Oberst on her song “Would You Rather.”
The crowd loved every second of the performance – from singing every word to interacting with Bridgers between songs, they were all in. Her performance was so simple, yet so flawless. It was very clear to the audience that Bridgers is on the up and up. So, to that audience member who claimed she’ll be selling out Radio City in the blink of an eye – you’re on to something.
