When the clock strikes December in Portland, two things are sure: cold weather, and “December to Remember”; a multi-night concert event, showcasing the best in alternative music. Hosted by Portland’s 94/7 FM at the famous Crystal Ballroom, this year’s “December to Remember” lineup includes the likes of Catfish and the Bottlemen, Vampire Weekend, and of course, Phantogram.
From the second the duo took the stage, their energy was at full speed, and they showed no signs of slowing down. The dim, yet colorful lights created a distinct mood that perfect fit their undefinable sound. Equal parts rock, electronic, pop, and alternative, the duo used the variety of sounds and genres to their advantage. Their dynamic range is extremely impressive, and makes for an absolutely unmissable concert experience.
