A R I Z O N A the band, and also the ice tea? Genius.
Outside Lands on Halloweekend continues with Day 2, with excitement from both artists and festival attendees even higher than the day before. Costumes continued to trickle in with Halloween happening the next day, with even the band A R I Z O N A also taking part in the festivities dressing up as cans of Arizona Ice Tea. Plenty of Ted Lassos, Squid Game and a few Waldos could be spotted in the crowds of Outside Lands. Whispers of Lizzo’s surprise appearance at an LA DJ set as baby Yoda the night before could be heard throughout the day, as festival goers anticipated Lizzo’s headlining set that night.
A representative from Grogu’s publicity team has issued a statement regarding the paparazzi photos taken last night:
Grogu aka Baby Yoda aka The Child has no recollection of these events. I’m fact, these events never happened *jedi hand wave* pic.twitter.com/ssoAkPakkE

Some last minute lineup changes were also the talk of the festival. Both Young Thug and Marc Rebillet was announced that morning they would no longer be performing at the festival; they were instead replaced by Aminé and Reggie Watts, respectively. The crowd made the best of the news, and still attended the sets of the new artists anticipating a great show from the new artists. Aminé delivered a high energy set and had fun with his crowd. He loves to hype up his crowd at Aminé shows and make them feel loved and like they belong, instructing them that when he tells them “you’re beautiful,” he wants them to yell back “I know!” The crowd was deafening.
Crowds became louder and more massive as the night went on. Vampire Weekend were welcomed by the incredibly excited crowd to not only their Outside Lands set, but their one and only show in 2021 and first show since prepandemic times. The band commented on this, after they performed their track “2021” as the band graciously thanked the massive Day 2 crowd, “this is the only ‘2021’ of 2021.” The band moved from song to song as the crowd roared on, and performed hit after hit. It felt like one massive Vampire Weekend show, and it seemed like every single Outside Lands attendee knew every word to every Vampire Weekend song.
Finally the moment everyone was waiting for. Lizzo came to the stage to get the party started. With a huge stage setup, dancers, an incredible band and pyrotechnics Lizzo pulled out all the stops. It was a huge show to compliment the incredibly fun artist. And no show is complete without a little banter inbetween songs of Lizzo being her hilarious self. With an incredible vocal range and stage presence, Lizzo brought the “Juice” to close out Day 2 of Outside Lands and leave her fans with an unforgettable night.
