On Sunday, April 29th, 2018, Chicago’s historic Riviera Theater was packed to the brim eager for the night ahead. Fans of all ages crowded into the general admission area hoping for the one thing every fan wants to have – to be front row.
As OutKast’s “Hey Ya” finally ended, the lights dropped down signaling that it was finally show time. From all over the venue, screams for Noah Kahan began.
“I’m really excited to be opening for George Ezra, we’re going to play a lot of sad songs before he goes on,” said the singer after his first song.
With catchy guitar riffs and an incredible amount of vocal talent, Kahan lit up the room ahead of the stage. Complimented by a second guitarist, a bassist and drummer, Kahan’s stage presence felt confident, well rehearsed but organic and natural, all at once.
Kahan is set to open for George Ezra through the rest of the North American tour and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the singer.
