After opening for Katy Perry late last year, pop newcomer Noah Cyrus has embarked on her first headlining tour, which came to Portland’s Wonder Ballroom last night. After releasing a slew of solo singles and collaborations with the likes of MØ, Gallant, Lil Xan, MAX, and Alan Walker, Cyrus has been steadily releasing material over the last couple years. Her debut single Make Me (Cry), released in late 2016, showed Cyrus introducing herself as an artist that was ready to make waves.
Once the show started, Cyrus sang tracks from her recently released “Good Cry – EP”, as well as tracks from the catalogues of Hozier and The 1975. From the gospel-esque “Mad at You”, to the bouncy “My Way”, Cyrus showed her abilities to conquer many different genres and styles. Her voice is one of a kind, and one we’re sure to be hearing for years to come. Check out some photos from the show below!
