We had the absolute pleasure of catching up with the lovely Nina Nesbitt last night as she opened for James Arthur on his “It’ll All Make Sense” Tour at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH.
Nesbitt took the stage promptly at 8 pm on the beautiful Tuesday night we had. One of the best parts of her set was that fact it felt as though we were hoping onto a FaceTime with a good friend. With a couple guitars, a piano and a microphone, the whole performance felt very intimate which created such a connection between the crowd and Nina. There was even a point where she had mentioned she bought a new outfit and got her nails done in the city which had multiple fans yelling, “you go, girl!” which was such a cute interaction.
She opened her set with the lovely song, “Loyal to Me” which then went into her newest song, “Dinner Table”. Nesbitt mentioned prior to beginning her second song that she was tired of giving bad men a platform they did not deserve so she has changed her ways and wanted to make her grandma a star with the song. A handful of audience members took it upon themselves to bring out their phone flashlights which got more of the crowd to join in for such a sweet moment.
As her set continued, more and more of the audience fell in love with Nina Nesbitt. She ended her set with an amazing cover of Britney Spears‘ “Toxic”. Everyone in the venue stopped in their tracks, wide-eyed, and screaming along to the iconic tune. We believe everyone in that venue who did not know who the Scottish artist was left as a new fan.
Now this is a set we are going to remember for a long, long time. We cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for Nina Nesbitt!
The “It’ll All Makes Sense” is about halfway over so head over to Nina’s website to find a date near you to attend. You are not gong to want to miss this one!
