Nothing but feel good music could be heard coming from Stubb’s indoor stage in Austin, TX on September 18, 2018 thanks to morgxn, one of the two opening acts for DREAMERS. Moving from one musically rich city to another, morgxn comes from Nashville but now calls Los Angeles home. He played to the equally musical rich Austin crowd, who to his appreciation, sang along to many of the alternative soul musician’s songs. The crowd was a majority of underage fans who could be easily enthralled with a good dance beat and a convincing front man. Morgxn performed above that standard, however, and managed to get even the unaware early comers to wave their hands in the air during his breakout hit, “home.” His show was energetic and his message of being true to oneself was prominent throughout the entirety of the night. It’s a message that can be easily found in morgxn’s lyrics and made visual in his newest music video for his song, “translucent.” Morgxn hit the road earlier this month to accompany the cosmic rock trio on their 2018 Fall Tour. The alternative singer/songwriter first made hips sway with his 2016 hit, “love you with the lights on.” Morgxn released his debut album, vital, in May 2018 and has since taken the stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
