On Tuesday night, indie-pop band MisterWives took over Milk Studios in New York City to help celebrate the release of Fender’s new California series of acoustic guitars. The band played a 6 song acoustic set, and while they’re known for their upbeat music and energetic performance, they turned their acoustic set into a full on dance party. Members of the band were still dancing and running around the stage, doing a great job of getting the crowd excited and engaging them with the songs they were playing. MisterWives mostly played songs from their sophomore album, Connect The Dots, which was released in May 2017 via Republic Records. The band danced the night away, and closed out their set with the title track from their debut album Our Own House, which was clearly a fan favorite.
MisterWives delivered an incredible set, despite it being an acoustic performance. The band’s musicianship was on point, and really did a great job of celebrating Fender and their new guitar series. Check out some photos from their performance below!
