Mabel first shot onto the scene back in 2017 with her mainstream breakthrough track “Finders Keepers” and has been on a meteoric rise to the top ever since consistently producing some of the UK’s top R&B and pop tracks whilst further cementing her name in the musical industry. Being the daughter of music stars Neneh Cherry and Cameron McVey, the Spanish born superstar has music flowing through her blood and in her genes and her musical talent shines through this, she embodies the classic good vibe pop genre style and owns it with her own stylings mixed with incredible dedication to her craft. The 23 year old has such a great career ahead of her and at such an early age she’s already achieved so much, her debut album High Expectations was released in August of 2019 and she was the first ever artist to receive the Rising Star award at the first UK Global Awards in 2018. We were lucky enough to catch Mabel live in action as she played a sold out show in Manchester at the O2 Victoria Warehouse.
Mabel took to the stage in sheer fashion with the introduction track from her debut album “High Expectations” as she was accompanied by an entourage of dancers who joined her through the entire night. Fan favorites and some of her most successful tracks such as, “One Shot”, “My Lover” and her most recent track featuring world renowned DJ Tiesto “God is a Dancer” were all played to the Mancunian crowd who embraced the singer as she played her heart out. Smiles filled the venue from both the sea of fans and Mabel herself who quite frankly couldn’t stop herself as she smiled from ear to ear during her performances, the night ended with an encore of two of her most famous songs “Ring Ring” and “Don’t call me up”.
