Dream pop heart-throbs, LANY, took the stage in Milwaukee to deafening screams and one of the most enthusiastic experiences that we’ve ever witnessed. Fans who had been camping the night before to just be close enough to the band threw flowers on stage, holding up custom designed t-shirts that reflected how inspired they were by LANY’s music.
Taking the stage almost directly after opener Machineheart, LANY’s set was filled with some of their older tracks like “pink skies,” but also premiered two new songs from LANY’s debut album due out later this month. (Although fans of the band argue that the band has released enough music to have an album).
The stage filled with smoke as the three members (Paul Klein, Les Priest, Jake Goss) took the stage and as the first notes of “yea babe, no way,” the crowd began to dance, singing along at top volume.
An incredible night that was had by all, LANY continues to impress us with their fresh sound, relatable lyrics and most importantly, how they connect with their fans.
