With only one more night left on her Cheap Queen tour, King Princess played to the sold out crowd on a Thursday night in St. Louis. Coming off of the success from hit singles like “1950” and “Pussy is God,” King Princess quickly rose the charts with her debut album Cheap Queen.
Opening up the night with a song from this debut album, we saw the full range of what King Princess could do, from her slower piano ballads like “Aint Together” to her more upbeat, electrically charged songs like “Prophet.” To see someone rise the charts and sell out venues for the tour supporting their first album is remarkable in general, let alone someone who is only 21. From her incredible stage presence, to her songs that shine light on LGTBQ+ experience, King Princess really is doing something different here. With the American leg of her tour now coming to an end, we’re here to tell you as sure as the rest of the sold-out crowd would: you don’t want to miss her next tour.
