May 13th, Vietnamese-American Artist Keshi brought a sold out show to Orlando, Florida. Keshi who is a multi talented singer/songwriter, producer, & musician released his Debut album this year. Since then fans attending this tour have been able to experience their new favorite tracks on the album & older hits from previous EPs live for the first time. Starting of the night with “Get It” a high tempo track with hip hop influences that created a high pace that would carry unto the rest of the night. The setlist included other songs like Beside You, Right Here, Hell/Heaven, West Side, Somebody, Angel, & title track Gabriel. Keshi’s known for his range in genres, the artist is featured in multiple Spotify curated playlists like “Alternative R&B, Chill Tracks, Sad Beats & Jasmine (a playlist that illuminates Asian artists everywhere.)”etc.
While attending the show just like many in the audience i got to check off my list of every song i wanted to hear live. The night was not over even after Keshi said “Thank you Orlando!” & left the stage making it seem like the night had ended. Right after his temporary exit i got to stick around to hear some of the loudest encore chants i’ve ever heard. “One more song!” was chanted over & over for over a minute & instigated by the musicians that stayed on stage. Just then the instrumental intro of the most anticipated song of the night started to play & Keshi joined the stage again to end the night with “2 Soon”.
The whole night the crowd had great interaction with the artist, but the last bit was extraordinary as the crowd sang along so loud that you could hear them over the music. We hope Keshi enjoyed his time here because Orlando will continue to look forward to being included in future tours.
