Following the release of his recent EP, Sad Songs In A Hotel Room, Joshua Bassett closes out his headlining tour Monday night with his last show of two sold-out nights at Troubador in West Hollywood.
The intimate venue exploded as Joshua jumped out on stage, backed by his 3-piece band, with his opening song, “Feel Something”. The set was filled with songs from his projects Crisis / Secret / Set Me Free, his self-titled EP, as well as singles like the very first song he wrote, “Common Sense”. Joshua also performed a cover of Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved” and added a sprinkle of “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls later in the night.
And it wouldn’t have been a proper Joshua Bassett show without a nod to the Disney+ show he stars in, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, with his song “Finally Free” from Season 3.
The show was filled with dancing, inspiration, vulnerability, emotion… and lots of climbing on the stage and venue.
Joshua also performed his latest releases “would you love me now?“, “SHE SAID HE SAID SHE SAID“, and “i’m sorry“, which is celebrating its release today.
Congrats to Joshua on his first headlining tour. Now, we’re ready for the album!
