On Friday, September 21st, In Real Life took the stage at House of Blues in Chicago. As the five members took the stage, the audience was deafening as they cheered for the five incredible vocalists took their spots. Immediately starting with their 2017 hit, “Eyes Closed,” fans were mesmerized by synchronized dance moves, perfect harmonies and the look of gratitude on “their boys’” faces.
For old school boy band fans or maybe even fans from the last few years, In Real Life brought back the nostalgic feeling of a boy band concert. Featuring a full melody of One Direction, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC and more, IRL stunned their fans with a perfect mashup of all of their favorite hits. Fans sang their hearts out as their new favorite band sang the words of songs they grew up with, have heard on the radio or maybe even on stadium tours.
Throughout the set, In Real Life perfected the art of greeting fans, grabbing phones from the fans at the barricaded and even smiling for a quick selfie. About halfway through the set, fans were lucky enough to hear and see each of the members do their own solo performance. Between covers of top 40 songs like Bazzi and Liam Payne to perfectly crafted solo dance moves, the addition of solo performances was the perfect way for fans to get to know their favorite members.
Closing out their set with radio hit “Tattoo (How ‘Bout You)” and “”Tonight Belongs To You,” the Tonight Belongs To You Tour was the perfect night for great vocals, a perfected stage presence, genuine fan interaction and more.
Comprised of Brady Tutton, Chance Perez, Michael Conor, Drew Ramos, and Sergio Calderon, In Real Life has made major television appearances like Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live, with plans to tour in the upcoming years too.
