Saturday, August 4th was an emotional night for Imagine Dragons at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas. The band opened with their hit Radioactive with lots of energy and a shirtless Dan Reynolds taking center stage in basketball shorts and Adidas. Shortly after opening, Reynolds informed the crowd that he wasn’t feeling well which came as a surprise after his grand entrance. Reynolds explained to the crowd how the band had not cancelled a show in 9 years and he didn’t plan to start now. Despite feeling ill, Reynolds pushed through the evening and apologized for not being at the top of his game throughout the evening. After asking for the crowd’s help singing, it was astonishing to see fans sing along with the band at the top of their lungs. Dan Reynolds did whatever it took (pun intended) to give the crowd an amazing performance. From confetti, to bright lights, to hit singles It’s Time, Whatever It Takes and many more, the band definitely gave the crowd a night to remember.
