In recent years, Illenium has become one of the most influential and in demand names in EDM. From his notable collaborations with artists such as Daya and Jon Bellion, to his much buzzed-about live show, the DJ born Nicholas Miller is an undeniable staple of the genre. On the first of December, his Ascend Tour stopped by Portland’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and the city came out in droves to witness his magic.
The colors, lights, and flames were a feast for the eyes, but the music was still undoubtedly the star of the show. With each song, the visuals changed to reflect the vibe of the song, fully immersing the audience in an array of vibrant creations. The atmosphere Illenium creates is second to none; his music exists in a bombastic and colorful world that he fully brings to life with his live show. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off December, and we’re already counting down the days until Illenium graces Portland once again!
