American rock band Goo Goo Dolls returned to Chattanooga, Tennessee last week to promote their new record Miracle Pill at the Tivoli Theatre. Fans of all ages sang along at the top of their lungs for hit songs like “Slide”, “Black Balloon”, and “Iris”. Before performing “Souls in the Machine”, vocalist Johnny Rzeznik spoke on the importance of community in music, saying, “we all agree on one thing – that we want to be here tonight.” Without a doubt, Goo Goo Dolls gave Chattanooga a show filled with energy and positivity. Rzeznik closed out the show, saying, “thank you for keeping this band alive for so long.”
