Day one of FVDED In The Park was crazy, but day two was absolutely wild. The lineup was stacked and people came ready to have a good time. Let’s go over what you may have missed.
Hands down, BROCKHAMPTON had the best performance during the festival. Their energy on stage is unparalleled. Joba said, “We just want to have fun on stage with you. Is that okay?” The screams never stopped and several girls were in tears. The boy band dropped a new song the night before, 1999 Wildfire, and the crowd knew every word. BROCKHAMPTON stans were everywhere. They drove hours and camped out even longer for the best spot to witness the greatness that is BROCKHAMPTON.
Honestly, this kid is full of energy. He came out in a hoodie, but two songs in ended up shirtless because of how crazy he performs on stage. The crowd is rowdy and he feeds off the insane energy the people give to him. He is a definite must see live if you get the chance. Nardwuar was there filming his performance and interviewed Lil Skies before he was set to go on stage. You can watch that here.
The crowd roared when Kehlani ran out on stage. She genuinely cares about every person there and values the opportunity she’s given to perform for them. During a song transition she thanked everybody for being there and told them to be safe and respectful of those around them. Every Kehlani song is fantastic. She had fun with the crowd dancing her way through her set.
Bazzi is one of our favorite up-and-coming artists. Although he has completely blown up since his song, Mine, finally caught massive radio play attention. Many people in the crowd weren’t familiar with the face behind the voice, but they were able to piece things together as his set went on.
