Embodying creativity can be intimidating to express. Dounia does this with effortless confidence. It spills from her in a very tangible manner. The first day of tour often comes with mixed emotions; nerves and excitement mingle together as a million and one tasks pile up before show time. Dounia was calm and patient. From soundcheck to performance, nothing was rushed.
Performing comes naturally to Dounia. To her surprise, the crowd was singing along with her. Seeing joy like that from an artist while they are performing is special. Fans inched closer as her set went on. They wanted more.
