Pittsburgh hardcore giants, Code Orange, played a hometown show while on tour with Gojira, and we were there to see it. Code Orange, who are making their own mark in the world of metal, absolutely killed the stage. From the guitarist screaming in the faces of the fans to their bassist spin kicking at least 5 times on stage, the energy in Stage AE has never been higher.
The band played songs from their newest record “Forever” which challenges the standards of the genre, as well as songs off of their previous record “I am King“. Though the attendance didn’t seem to be too high, the crowd certainly was killing it in the pit.
