A legend in every sense of the word, Cher has been a staple of the entertainment industry for over half a century. The Grammy and Academy Award winner’s “Here We Go Again Tour” stopped by Portland’s Moda Center in late October for a dazzling show that explored the many eras of her inimitable career. Opening with the empowering and danceable “Woman’s World”, the pace was set for the vibrant, high-energy show to come.
The colors, lights, dancers, and displays all made for a gorgeous spectacle, as they constantly changed to fit the theatrics of the song. From the bedazzled walking elephant to the airborne Cher-lift, the show was chock-full of show-stopping moments. But, at the end of the day, there was no greater showstopper than Cher herself.
Her voice is still as stunning and distinct as ever, and her top-notch humor had the crowd in stitches every time she paused to tell a quick story or reflect on her career. Tracks like “Strong Enough”, “I Got You Babe”, “Welcome to Burlesque”, and of course, “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe” were among song of the show’s highlights, as Cher’s versatility was on full display. Despite being 73-years-old, Cher is still the diva she’s always been, and she can still put on one killer live show. Check out some photos from the show below!
