Leon recently brought her Fade Into a Dream tour to Scoot Inn in Austin, Texas with Catie Turner opening up the show.

Catie was an absolute dream, she was funny, charming, and wildly talented. The best part of her set (other than her incredible vocal chops) was her interactions with the crowd. She spent several minutes talking with individual audience members and cracking jokes with them. Her vulnerability and her attitude even when things went a little awry with technical issues made the show even better, it felt like hanging out with one of your best friends.

She wowed the crowd with songs like “Nothing” and a fun, energy filled cover of Katy Perry’s“Teenage Dream”. Immediately after her set, she hopped offstage and went into the crowd to meet everyone, she snapped pictures and even made a few TikTok videos with fans. It was really special to see how much she genuinely cares for her fans.

There’s no denying that Catie Turner is going to be huge. Seeing someone with so much heart and passion do what they love is what live music is all about, and Catie does it so well.
